We had an amazing time at the Great Wall, in Beijing China... It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.... even though it was 25 degrees F...and we almost lost some of our fingers and toes...we loved it. I am a little late in posting and that we landed in Guangzhou last night... we were told that we get our little baby boy on Monday February 13th at 2:30pm...we are so excited and will share more soon...prayers for for an easy transition and that his health is well.

Well we made it to China...after about 14 hour flight we made it! We are so excited to be in Beijing, we weren't able to visit here last time but we will go to the Great Wall today...Please continue to pray for little Mason I received word when we landed that he had some type of infection in his left pinkie and that due to the Chinese New Year he did not receive the proper care so they had to amputate part of it off...Wow what news to receive...I have been really upset for him and can't wait to get him...Prayers that everything else is okay with him and that we will bring him home and take wonderful care of him. I will post pictures of the Great Wall tonight it is 4am and I am wide awake...

Here we go again...

Friends and Family this is Mason Richard Jialin Foster, he was born in Gaozhou, China. He is currently living in an County ran orphanage which has limited funding from the Governement. WE have been told that they wait for surgeries much longer and that sometimes the boys do not receive surgeries until they are much older which would continue to affect his nutrition and developmental delays. When we received his referral in May, 2011 he weighed 9 lbs at 9 months old..he is now 17 months old and weighs 16 lbs...and looks so much better with the 7 pounds he has gained. I feel that we have been blessed to add him to our family and hopefully we can bless him by providing love, nutrition, and good medical care. But most important that he would grow up to know Jesus... We will travel soon to pick him up in China. This time Jamie and Mackenzie will not be able to travel so my Mom and Rachel (niece) are traveling with me...Prayers that Mason will adjust well and that we will have safe and healthy travels while we are gone...I hope to keep up my blog while in China...if not Tien will update my blog as often as she can...Thanks for following our Journey....
